First Occurance--Footsteps

As most people know when you first move into a new home you want to make changes so that it becomes your home. A place where you can raise your family, invite friends over, and then later in life retire, and those are things that I have done and are still doing in my home only difference is I am doing it with extra family members that are not with us on this pyhsical world. When I first moved into the home I was not new to the idea of Paranormal Investigating. I had actually been in the field for about three years, and had many incidents at my previcous home. Do I believe that the enities from the previous home follow me from there to the new home? No, and I say that because I actually believe that the previcous home had its own livelyness. My first occurance happened a few months after we moved in, and remember my father and my husband at the time, had already started making changes to the home. I have found out through the years working in the paranormal field that anytime you start making changes to a home that is when the activity starts. Why? As many Paranormal Investigations that I have done one of the first questions that I ask the client is: "Have you made any changes to the home?" I ask this because anytime you do the enities start coming out of the wood work. They do not like change! You are making changes to the area that they have been at for who knows how long! So, just remember anytime that you start making changes to your home look out!!! The first occurance that I had happened one night while I was finishing up the dinner dishes. There is really no kitchen in this home, just a straight away, with a sink and cabinets on one side, and the stove and fridge on the other side. After you leave the kitchen there is an area that I have always called the "Breakfast Nook" and then an entrance that leads outside. The basement door is on the left of this area. I was standing at the sink doing dishes when I heard the loudest, hard stomping, footsteps that I have ever heard. It sounded like someone was racing up the stairs. Even though I was a paranormal investigator I jumped half out of my skin at that sound and ran to were my husband was sitting in the living room. Although this was not a great experience, it was one that I have never forgotten because it was the first.

House--2003

This is "The House" in 2003. When I first looked at the home I thought that it looked small from the outside, but when you enter the home there is more then what you would expect. It originally had three bedrooms, but my son has added another one to the structure of the home. Across the back of the home there was a room that went from one end of the home to the other end. My son decided at one point to divide that area into two sections. When we first moved into the home my father made the decision to take out the hedges in the front.Later on we would make more changes to the home, and eventually I will add a picture of what the home looks like now. It is still in a remolding phase, and hopefully when I am finished publishing information on the home that will be the last item that I post, a final picture of the home, finished.

House on Mulberry Street

I am a Paranormal Investigator who lives in Salem, IN., and have been in the paranormal field for fifteen years. When I decided to buy a home I didn't realize that I would be buying a home that had other residents other than my family. There have been many reports of strange occurences, ( Not strange to me) by friends and family members that I felt it was time to share some of them with the public. The main objective in this Blog is mainly to share with you some of those experiences with you, the reader. From those experiences I can honestly say that I beleive there are at least three or four enities that reside here with me and my family. One is a little girl, an older woman, an older man, and another man who seems to remain slient, at least more then the others. The previous owners of the home were an older couple. So, as time goes by and the occurances happen I will post them. There are a number to post since the first day that we moved into the home in 2003.
