First Occurance--Footsteps

As most people know when you first move into a new home you want to make changes so that it becomes your home. A place where you can raise your family, invite friends over, and then later in life retire, and those are things that I have done and are still doing in my home only difference is I am doing it with extra family members that are not with us on this pyhsical world. When I first moved into the home I was not new to the idea of Paranormal Investigating. I had actually been in the field for about three years, and had many incidents at my previcous home. Do I believe that the enities from the previous home follow me from there to the new home? No, and I say that because I actually believe that the previcous home had its own livelyness. My first occurance happened a few months after we moved in, and remember my father and my husband at the time, had already started making changes to the home. I have found out through the years working in the paranormal field that anytime you start making changes to a home that is when the activity starts. Why? As many Paranormal Investigations that I have done one of the first questions that I ask the client is: "Have you made any changes to the home?" I ask this because anytime you do the enities start coming out of the wood work. They do not like change! You are making changes to the area that they have been at for who knows how long! So, just remember anytime that you start making changes to your home look out!!! The first occurance that I had happened one night while I was finishing up the dinner dishes. There is really no kitchen in this home, just a straight away, with a sink and cabinets on one side, and the stove and fridge on the other side. After you leave the kitchen there is an area that I have always called the "Breakfast Nook" and then an entrance that leads outside. The basement door is on the left of this area. I was standing at the sink doing dishes when I heard the loudest, hard stomping, footsteps that I have ever heard. It sounded like someone was racing up the stairs. Even though I was a paranormal investigator I jumped half out of my skin at that sound and ran to were my husband was sitting in the living room. Although this was not a great experience, it was one that I have never forgotten because it was the first.
